**Amundson Group**

A self-performing contractor in the Piedmont region is hiring a Pipe Foreman to lead and execute underground utility and site infrastructure projects. You’ll run your own crew, manage schedules and safety, and own the quality of every job from start to finish. This is a full-time role for someone with real piping experience and the leadership chops to keep a team moving safely and on spec.

## What you will run

- Direct supervision and hands-on work with a crew of pipe installers and equipment operators
- Project scheduling, layout, and compliance with plans, specs, and timelines
- Safety leadership: daily toolbox talks, PPE enforcement, OSHA and EPA compliance, incident reporting
- Equipment operation and inspection (excavators, dozers, loaders, and other heavy machinery)
- Grading, seeding, and site preparation work
- Crew timesheets, paperwork, and communication with engineers, inspectors, and clients
- Housekeeping, equipment maintenance requests, and job site organization

## What it takes

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on piping installation experience
- Proven ability to operate heavy equipment (excavator, dozer, front end loader)
- Experience with grading and seeding
- Current North Carolina Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- OSHA 10 hour, trenching safety, confined space, and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred
- Ability to read plans, stakes, and technical drawings
- Strong communication and crew leadership skills
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather, climbing in and out of excavations, lifting up to 70 pounds
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed

## The work environment

You’ll be outdoors on active construction sites, exposed to weather, noise, dust, fuel, and heavy equipment. The work is physical and demanding. You’ll be near moving machinery and uneven terrain. This role requires travel when necessary and the flexibility to adapt to changing site conditions.
