**Amundson Group**

A self-performing contractor in the Brandon/Riverview area is hiring a Paving Foreman to lead asphalt operations on commercial and civil projects. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll run the paver, manage crew, and own quality and safety from start to finish. If you can operate CAT, Volvo, or LeeBoy equipment and want to step into a foreman role with real responsibility, this is it.

## What You Will Run

You will operate asphalt paving machines (CAT 1055F, Vogal Super 2000 3I, or Leeboy 8500E) to place asphalt on roads, parking lots, and commercial sites. You will maintain proper grade, slope, depth, and mat quality during paving operations. You will coordinate with screed operators, roller crews, and other foremen for consistent production. You will monitor material flow, adjust controls for smooth placement, and conduct daily equipment inspections.

Beyond the machine, you will supervise and manage the asphalt crew, including task training and crew supervision. You will pre-plan work, enforce quality control and safety policies, maintain daily timesheets and reports, and lead weekly toolbox talks and safety meetings. You will measure yields, complete your own layouts, and proactively solve problems that could delay the job.

## What It Takes

- Proven experience operating asphalt pavers, specifically CAT, Volvo, or LeeBoy equipment.
- Understanding of asphalt paving procedures, materials, and job site standards.
- Valid driver’s license required. CDL preferred but not required.
- Ability to work long hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
- Ability to stand and walk on uneven job sites for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor construction environment.

## Comp and Benefits

120,000 to 150,000 per year, plus company truck. Health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

## Work Schedule

Monday through Saturday. Hours vary based on job site and operational needs.
