Our client, a self-performing heavy civil contractor, is hiring a dedicated Primavera P6 Scheduler to own project timelines, sequencing, and schedule-driven recovery opportunities. This is a strategic role for someone who understands construction from the ground up and can turn scheduling into a competitive advantage on complex TxDOT projects.

## What you will run

You will build and manage project schedules in Primavera P6, working directly with Project Managers and Operations teams to develop realistic, logic-driven timelines. Your focus: identify critical path risks, sequence work efficiently, and flag schedule impacts and change order opportunities before they become problems. You will analyze delays, manage schedule recovery, and help the team understand how owner changes and external factors affect project execution. This is not a back-office role. You will be embedded with the team, challenging assumptions and improving how projects get built.

## What it takes

- Minimum: Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6
- Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC/OCP) experience is a major plus
- Proven background in heavy civil construction scheduling
- Deep familiarity with TxDOT projects and their scheduling requirements
- Solid grasp of schedule analysis, logic development, critical path management, and project sequencing
- Practical understanding of equipment, manpower, and construction sequencing
- Ability to work collaboratively with PMs and operations without ego
- Strong communication skills and the people sense to influence without authority

## Compensation

135k annually.
