## The Role

A self-performing contractor in Central Texas is looking for a Divisional Superintendent to lead their underground utilities division. This is a permanent placement backfill, and they’re ready to move fast for the right person. You’ll manage 4-6 concurrent projects across the Austin region, lead foreman-level crews, and report directly to the Underground Division Manager.

## What You Will Run

- 4 to 6 active underground utility projects simultaneously across Central Texas
- Foreman-level field staff and crew coordination
- Day-to-day project execution, safety, and quality in the Austin area and surrounding region
- Direct reporting relationship to the Underground Division Manager

## What It Takes

- 10+ years of underground utilities experience, minimum. This work is complex and they need someone who knows it cold.
- Bilingual capability. This is the top priority and a deal breaker.
- Clean driving record.
- High school diploma minimum. College degree not required.
- Strong references you can stand behind.

## Who They’re Looking For

Ideally, you’re either coming from a larger firm and ready to move to a midsized operation, or you’re running an underground division at a smaller company and want more stability and resources. Local to Austin is preferred, but trade knowledge beats local market knowledge every time. They’re open to candidates anywhere in Texas.

## Comp and Benefits

- Salary around $125K
- Company truck provided
- Standard benefits package

They want this filled ASAP, ideally by end of year. For the right candidate, they’ll move immediately.
