# What Does a Recruiter for Construction Jobs Do?

A construction recruiter sources, screens, and places qualified professionals with contractors and construction companies that need them. At Amundson Group, our recruiters work nationally across heavy civil, site development, data center, rail, tunnel, and wastewater sectors. We place superintendents, project managers, project engineers, estimators, schedulers, foremen, skilled trades, and construction executives. On the client side, we learn the timeline, budget, culture, and skill requirements for each role. On the candidate side, we know who is active, who is open to the right opportunity, and what it takes to close an offer. We handle sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer negotiation. We are not a job board. We are a recruiting partner with 90,000+ construction professionals in our network and an average of 7 hours from job intake to first qualified resume delivered.
