# How Important Is Work-life Balance and Autonomy to Construction Superintendents Considering a New Job?

Autonomy and independence on the job site are frequently cited priorities for senior construction superintendents. Employers who can articulate how site leaders retain authority within their structure have a meaningful advantage in recruiting this profile.
