# Are There Truly Remote Project Manager Jobs in Construction, and What Do They Pay?

Remote and hybrid project manager roles do exist in construction, though "remote" usually means hybrid or travel-required rather than fully desk-bound. Most employers expect periodic site visits, regional availability, or willingness to travel, so pure remote work is less common than in other industries.

Pay moves based on project size and complexity, sector (heavy civil, data center, rail, and tunnel work tend to pay above lighter scopes), years of experience, PMP or other certifications, and how much travel the role demands. Senior PMs with large-project experience and scheduling or budget depth consistently command the strongest offers.
