# Are There Remote Project Manager Jobs Available in Construction, and What Do They Pay?

Remote project manager roles do exist in construction, though they are more common in pre-construction, estimating support, and coordination functions than in field-heavy work. Sectors such as heavy civil, data center, rail, and site development do post remote and hybrid PM openings, typically for candidates who can manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and owner communication without being on site daily. Pay moves based on project size and complexity, sector, years of experience, relevant certifications, and whether travel is required even in a nominally remote role.
