# Are There Project Manager Jobs in Pittsburgh Construction?

Yes. Pittsburgh is an active construction market with steady demand for project managers, particularly in data center, heavy civil, and site development work. A job aggregator reported 42 live PM openings in Pittsburgh in October 2026.

Amundson Group recruits and places project managers across Pennsylvania, including Pittsburgh, for general contractors and construction firms working in our sectors: heavy civil, site development, data centers, rail, tunnels, and wastewater. We work with national and regional firms on roles from preconstruction through closeout, handling budgets, schedules, contracts, submittals, and subcontractor management.

Project managers in this market typically need 5 or more years of construction experience and a track record managing complex projects. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage for construction managers was $114,990 in May 2025, with 9% projected employment growth through 2035.

If you're a PM looking to move or an employer seeking Pittsburgh-based talent, we can help. Contact our team to discuss open roles.
