# Jamie Horton

As a Headhunter at Amundson Group, I cover all construction roles across Texas alongside Marisa de Freitas — superintendents, project managers, estimators, foremen, and field leaders in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio. Texas construction is a specialist market moving at its own pace, and the contractors building here need a recruiter who knows both the talent and the way Texas projects actually run. I focus on building real relationships with the people doing the work, so when a client has an urgent brief, I can move fast with candidates who are already the right fit. What I care about is being a steady partner across the long arc of a client’s hiring — not just the first hire.
