# Cherine Van Tonder

As a Headhunter at Amundson Group, I focus on foreman placements across the Sun Belt — working alongside Alex Penry and Dalton Meyer to cover the full range of foreman, general foreman, and crew leader roles that heavy civil, site development, and paving contractors need to fill. I spend my days talking directly with the people doing the work, so when a client calls with an urgent need, I’m not starting from zero. What I care about is matching foremen to projects they’ll actually want to run — because the right fit is what makes a placement stick past the 12-month mark.
