# Construction Recruiters — South Carolina

**Specialist recruiters for South Carolina’s heavy civil, site development, and paving contractors across Charleston, Greenville, and Columbia.**

South Carolina is a quieter market than the Charlotte metro next door, but it’s no less important to the contractors building here. Charleston’s coastal infrastructure, Greenville’s steady Upstate industrial and site development volume, and Columbia’s state-capital construction pipeline all require specialist recruiters who understand how SC talent moves (and doesn’t move) between markets.

Our Carolinas desk covers SC alongside NC. When a South Carolina contractor briefs us, they get the full Carolinas network behind their search.

## South Carolina construction recruiting FAQ

### Are you focused on SC or do you cover the whole Southeast?

SC is a core state for us, with a dedicated Carolinas desk. We also cover NC, GA, FL, and TN.

### What SC sectors are you strongest in?

Heavy civil and site development are our two strongest categories in South Carolina.

### Do you place SCDOT-specific candidates?

Yes — many of our SC heavy civil placements come from or go to SCDOT prime contractors.

### How does SC construction pay compare to Charlotte (NC)?

SC superintendent and PM salaries typically track 8-15% below Charlotte, depending on sector. Paving and DOT roles are more closely matched.
